Student Concert – So Percussion

In celebration of John Cage’s 100th birthday, So Percussion will be performing a special student concert on March 2, 2012. This 4-piece ensemble plays traditional percussion (i.e. vibraphone, drums) but also create some interesting sounds out of tin cans, horns, and even an amplified cactus! Did you know that the Ontario Ministry of Education funds a number of computer programs like Finale and Band-in-the-Box for Ontario public (elementary & secondary) schools? If you are interested in adding another MUSIC title to the list take a few minutes to complete a simple survey online at: http://www.osapac.org/cms/content/osapac-software-needs-survey you can let the the Ontario Software Acquisition Program (OSAPAC) committee know that you are interested in getting access to Breezin’ Thru Theory for all of your students.
